ABOUT US

The Integrated and Inclusive Public Grievance CM Helpline Management System (CM Helpline) is a two-way communication platform for citizens to file their grievances and get them resolved in one place, conveniently. It is an initiative of the Honourable Chief Minister, and has been developed by Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA).

The CM Helpline comprises a call centre which acts as the single point of contact to address and redress grievances filed via any of the following methods.

  1. Helpline number (1100)
  2. Web portal
  3. Mobile app (Android & iOS)
  4. E-mail to cmhelpline@tn.gov.in
  5. Post the grievance to the address mentioned under “Contact Us” at the bottom of this page
  6. Visit the address mentioned under “Contact Us” at the bottom of this page
  7. Twitter, Facebook

The call centre assigns the grievance to the respective department for redressal. They also update the status of the grievance received from the concerned departments in the CM Helpline system for the citizens to track.

This service is being delivered to ensure that citizens from diverse backgrounds face no barriers in receiving government services, schemes, etc., receive assistance when their entitlements are impeded and are able to voice their grievances and receive appropriate remedy.

Other than grievances, the helpline also provides citizens with the opportunity to ask questions, submit suggestions/feedback for the government to improve, and receive and respond to latest announcements from the CM.

Norms have been established to redress the grievances in an expeditious, fair and sympathetic manner without giving room for public dissatisfaction. The different departments have been sensitised on the necessity for prompt and effective disposal of grievances. Through IIGPCMS, the State of Tamil Nadu strives to achieve 7 principles of a responsive government, namely – Access, Equity, Communication, Responsiveness, Effectiveness, Efficiency and Accountability.
